North Barrie Market is a local, family-owned market and butcher shop offering premium selections of local meats, ready-made meal solutions, delicious takeout BBQ, reverse-osmosis water, and more. We have four distinct subbrands: Bayfield Butcher, H2O on Tap, Barrie’s Best BBQ, and Meal Solutions.

Our Story

As a busy family of four managing full-time jobs and after-school activities, we often found ourselves relying on fast food or quick snacks. The daily stress of answering, “What’s for supper?” inspired us to create North Barrie Market—a place for families who want to eat well without sacrificing convenience.

We purchased the small storefront from Ron at Corner Market on April 1st, 2022, and quickly expanded into the neighbouring unit. Our focus has been on sourcing better-quality products, using the freshest ingredients, and raising the bar on cleanliness and service standards. With a dedicated team that shares our commitment to high-quality meals and a friendly, attentive staff, we’re proud to provide North Barrie with a market that feels like home.
